Though we mourn the cancellation of Community, this dark horizon has a few glimmers of awesome to assuage our wounds.

Looks like Marvel has decided to greenlight an Agent Carter TV series! And yes, they will have Hayley Atwell return to as Agent Peggy Carter.
Agent Bobby stated it best: “(something)…pants-ruiner Hayley Atwell..(something)(something).”
That says a lot. Agent Bobby: Wordsmith.
Details are limited at this point, but my money is on her show being about the formation of S.H.I.E.L.D., threats set in the 1940’s thru the 1950’s (possibly 1960’s?), spy politics and intrigue, and possibly Hydra’s secret rise to power. Maybe the best approach would be a sort of Mad Men meets The X-Files, with an even more kickass female lead.
Speaking of SHIELD, looks like Agents of SHIELD will be getting a second season!
This would have been so-so news the first half of season one, but the second half has more than made up for any doubts in my mind. I cannot wait to see what happens next! Coulson and May dealing with a harsh new world, Skye’s biological parents, Fitz & Simmons & Triplett love triangle, Ward’s fall from grace, and PATTON OSWALT’S VICTORIOUS RESURRECTION and TRANSFORMATION INTO A SUPER SOLDIER!!

Anyhoo, not much more news on the Marvel NetFlix series. The first one will be Daredevil, possibly in 2015. Keep your eyes (and other hyper-developed senses) peeled!
