Even thought I start our podcast off as “I’m the resident Spielberg fanatic, Justin Quizon.” I still haven’t seen every movie he’s made. Empire of the Sun is the first Spielberg movie I have honestly NEVER seen anything from. Not a scene. This is one of the few Spielberg movies I got to see as a brand new film. I was pretty excited to finally check it out. In terms of films that people talk about concerning Spielberg, Empire of the Sun is consistently the film that seemingly gets lost in the conversation. No one seems to want to talk about it, which I find interesting.

Anyways, another great talk with fellow Matt as we sit to watch a super young Christian Bale in his first major film roll!
