It’s a really really really really really really quiet week. It’s strange, we really only have one movie coming out on Friday. Just one. Who knew? So, lets just get to it….

What’s it about? Two sisters decide to throw one last house party before their parents sell their family home.

My thoughts? One day, I really hope to see Tina Fey and Amy Poehler star AND write the film they are in. They are both talented, smart writers and I’m shocked that haven’t used those skills for a vehicle for them to star in. Not to say that this film looks bad at all. At the very least, it looks MUCH better then the often forgotten Baby Mama. They got Paula Pell as a screenwriter and she’s done plenty of work on 30 Rock with Fey, so at least we know she has a similar sense of humor. They got director Jason Moore to helm the flick, and I honestly thought he did a solid job with the very enjoyable Pitch Perfect. And there’s no denying that Fey and Poehler have chemistry, ( I also dig the idea of Tina Fey playing the screw up, a character type she isn’t known for.) All in all this looks to be a ton of fun and I can’t wait to check it out.
