Sometimes, we fall down the internet rabbit hole and we are never heard from again… MOST of the time, you find a bunch of cool art and want to share it with everyone and everything (the “everything” being robots. Hey, they want friendship too!).

So here we are again, GUARDians! As I showed in my article about Akira homages, I collected as many homages to THIS classic cover:

Yep. The first. The big guy himself. Superman/Action Comics #01. I always loved this cover because its both a feat of strength and kind of terrifying. I mean look at the dude’s face in the lower left hand corner. As it turns out, this cover inspired a lot of remakes… but, oddly enough, mostly within the Superman universe.
